Day One

That was my last night. I was sitting and crying on the edge of his bed while he was on the other side of the bed, the same bed. I don't know what hurts the most, the farewell or the fact that he just slapped me with truths. Both felt like a kick in my stomach and I realized, I can't let it go, no matter how painful it is.

He grabbed me into his arms because my body trembled of crying. He whispered me few words and waited until I stopped crying. I looked deep into his eyes when he finally repeat what he said before, "go home, fix your broken heart, clean up your mess and find happiness in someone new. I'll pray for you."

You better pray hard for me, tiger.
